‘Letters to My People: Thoughts of a Recovering Addict’ — a Must Read by Pastor Anthony Torres

Living by the Holy Book, Pastor Anthony Torres recently wrote his very own book, giving hope to the world and to God the Glory. Letters to My People: Thoughts of a Recovering Addict was published this spring, reaching masses on Amazon.

The publication is currently ranked at 5 stars, and we are not surprised at its success and soaring positive feedback from readers. In a short 354 pages, he reveals his nearing 11 year road in recovery.

Anthony and Sasha Torres are lead Pastors at Mountain View Church in Alamogordo, New Mexico. In full-time ministry since 2013, they possess a passion for outreach and reaching the lost on the streets.

Pastor Anthony has a Masters degree in Christians Counseling from Cornerstone University. He has since implemented and leads a Bible-based recovery program called “New Life Recovery” for those dealing with drugs and alcohol.

Since Pastor Anthony and Sasha have taken over Mountain View Church in 2015, the Lord has grown it from 20 faithful attenders to now over 300 people on a Sunday.

Their vision is simple, Reach 1, to reach those that others might over look. In expectation of The Lord’s healing and restoration in people’s lives.

Anthony and Sasha have been married for 20 years and have 4 children, 3 daughters and a son. Two of their daughters are serving in ministry at Mountain View church along side their parents. Committed and passionate, they are excited to continue on this journey of reaching their city for the Glory of God.
