Meet Harp0.
Based in the west coast, the hip hop/rap artist is also an entertainment journalist, songwriter, singer, and just about any role a true creative is capable of.
Born into a middle class family in Detroit, Michigan, Harp0 went to the army at a young 17 years of age. Not many know that he is a U.S. Army Veteran.
It was around the same time that Harpo found his passion for the art of music.
“I went to the army right after high school where I recorded my first mixtape in 2011, which is when I fell in love with every aspect of music.”
One of my favorites is “On The Road”, which is one of his newest releases. The combination of his singing and rapping really gives the song versatility. The switch-up on the vibes is why “On The Road” stands out. (Sidenote: Save your conspiracies, readers, this is my honest opinion and feedback — NOT a paid advertisement.) I am impressed. He has also featured in the music of Middle EastSide Tmo, PGPM Big Bull (formerly PGPM Bully) and many more. Slowly introducing his name and music to the public on a professional level, Harp0 is becoming the new name in the hip hop/rap community.
“I’ve always known music. It was always in me, but I did not realize my potential until 2009, and I started to take it serious,” he explains.
Currently, he truly is involved in every aspect of music. Along with songwriting, recording and performing, Harp0 covers entertainment news on The Detroit Entrepreneur, a rising media platform and online magazine. He has completed articles on Rocky Badd, Bryan Hamilton, Gmac Cash, and more. (Click name to read.)
I was able to find out more about Harp0’s plans for the future, as he has some surprises up his sleeve. “I am currently building my home studio,” Harp0 shares. “I also have a new album in the works.”
From the creative world to the business world of entertainment, it is evident that he will remain a true creative, always.
